Abdul Basir Mesbah, was born in Bamyan Province and am a former journalism professor at Baghlan University as well as the owner of Pol-e Sorkh Media. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Communications from Allameh Tabataba’i University and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Kabul University.
My professional experience includes serving as the editor-in-chief of Porseshgar Weekly, working as a reporter for Maiwand TV, and conducting research at the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC). In addition to my engagement with Afghanistan’s national media, I have also been a member of the editorial boarding the Pazhohesh Scientific Quarterly Journal.
Currently, I reside in Germany, where I conduct research on journalism in exile and Afghanistan’s media system. A significant part of my work involves managing Pol-e Sorkh Media, which operates with a peace journalism approach, aiming to promote human rights and cultural rights
